We recently produced a documentary for the 5th Goat Distribution in Kilifi, an event organized by the Goat Foundation to support widows in the region. The video highlighted the story of Sidi John Mwambire, a widow and mother who, like many other women in Kilifi, has faced the challenges of raising her children without a stable source of income after losing her husband.
The documentary captured the emotional and transformative moment when Sidi, along with other women, received goats from the foundation. These goats represent more than just livestock; they are a lifeline for these families, offering a sustainable source of income and hope for a better future. Through this powerful video, we aimed to showcase the resilience of these women and the positive impact of the Goat Foundation’s work in uplifting vulnerable communities.
